Roles available in ApyGuard

The current team management flow in ApyGuard exposes two customer-facing roles:

Customer Admin

Full access to settings and the broader feature set available in the workspace.

Customer User

Can view and edit most features, but does not hold the same level of control as a customer admin.

Change a member role

  1. Go to Dashboard → Team.
  2. Find the member in the team table.
  3. Open the Actions menu on that row.
  4. Click Change Role.
  5. Choose either:
    • Customer Admin
    • Customer User
  6. Click Save Changes.

What the role dialog shows

The role dialog in ApyGuard currently presents these descriptions:
  • Customer Admin: Full access to all settings and features
  • Customer User: Can view and edit most features

Permission management guidance

  • Use Customer Admin for users who need broader configuration access
  • Use Customer User for collaborators who need day-to-day product access without top-level control
  • Review role assignments after team structure or ownership changes
  • Keep authorization testing roles in scans distinct from workspace membership roles
